Globus Connect Server Endpoint Migrate Domain
Name
globus-connect-server endpoint migrate-domain - Migrate the endpoint domain from data.globus.org to gaccess.io
Description
The globus-connect-server endpoint migrate-domain command completes the
migration of an endpoint to its gaccess.io domain. It starts Phase 2 of
domain migration: the old data.globus.org domain is removed from DNS, and the
endpoint responds only to the gaccess.io domain and any custom domain
associated with it.
The command asks for confirmation before it makes any change, because domain migration cannot be reversed. If the endpoint is not yet ready to be migrated, the command reports why and makes no changes. Running the command on an endpoint that has already been migrated reports "Domain already migrated." and changes nothing.
Use globus-connect-server endpoint migration-status to confirm that Phase 1 has completed before running this command and to follow the progress of Phase 2 afterward. Everyone using the GCS CLI against this endpoint must log in again after the migration completes. See the Domain Migration guide for the full procedure.
