server-add - Add a FTP server to an endpoint

SYNOPSIS

server-add -p SERVER [-s SUBJECT] ENDPOINT

DESCRIPTION

This command adds a server to an existing endpoint.

ENDPOINT can use these formats:

  • UUID: "7865988a-aeb3-4e55-b8cd-938c258e7854"

  • Legacy Name: "bob#test_endpoint". This contains the user who owns the endpoint and the endpoint legacy name.

  • Unqualified Legacy Name: "test_endpoint". The user name defaults to the current logged in user.

OPTIONS

-p SERVER

SERVER is a URL or hostname of a file server. The format is SCHEME://HOSTNAME:PORT. SCHEME may be "ftp" or "gsiftp", and defaults to "gsiftp" if not specified. PORT defaults to 2811 if not specified.

-s SUBJECT

The subject DN that the server’s host certificate must present. Specify this if the server’s certificate does not match its host name.

EXAMPLES

$ server-add -p gsiftp://gridftp.test.com:2811
    -s "/O=Grid/OU=Globus Test/CN=Test"
